Learning Options for Relational PowerPoint Presentation

Visually Interactive Presentation Consultation and Coaching Services

If you don't have time to build your relational network's structure or content, Aspire designers can build it for you. We also maintain connections with other designers so that no project is too big or small.

Design work can be charged on an hourly basis or bid as a package. In some cases, apprentice designers may be available, giving you access to lower rates.

Content Development: Finding or creating high-quality visual slide content can be one of the most time-consuming and expertise-demanding aspects of Relational Presentation. Presentation networks normally feature many photos, tailor-made graphics, charts, graphs, and so forth. Most also contain some video, audio, and a variety of meaningful animations. Getting assistance in this area can greatly shorten overall development time. Your role will be to determine what content is most needed in the immediate future, and then work with a designer to produce a design plan for that material.

Network Development: Visually interactive delivery is possible only after all necessary hyperlinked sections are in place, along with appropriate navigation structures. Therefore, once your content is developed, it must be assembled into a presentation network. The fastest and most effective way of getting this network in place is to have an experienced relational designer assist with both the organizational aspects and actual construction of the network.

Design Crash Course: As a presenter, you may have little interest in learning everything there is to know about relational design. Nevertheless, it's a good idea to know at least some basics—especially if Aspire or someone else builds your entire network. Understanding how to make simple modifications will give you the freedom to adjust materials on-the-fly if necessary, without needing outside assistance. We recommend taking a crash course on fundamental network mechanics. Usually this kind of training can be accomplished via a half-day Web session, either in a single block of time or spread out as necessary.

Delivery Coaching: Various aspects of relational delivery require special speaking skills. For example, smooth visual interaction is a delicate balance between maintaining a connection with the audience and dynamically finding needed slides. The process involves continuing to speak, while simultaneously navigating through the network in an effortless way with minimal breaks in continuity. Needless to say, such fluidity does not happen by accident. Working with an experienced relational presenter to perfect these skills saves practice time on your part and noticeably boosts the quality of your delivery skills. That quality, in turn, translates into a better, more natural connection to viewers.
