Description

Peter Shaw is a U.S.-based presales consultant for Insightful, a company that develops data analysis software. His presentation activities are a mixture of face-to-face interaction and Web delivery. Like many presenters, he and his team have a variety of technical, data-driven charts, tables, diagrams, and animations, any one of which might be needed at the next moment to answer customer questions or explain product functionality.

In the past, Peter would access this information by bouncing back and forth between separate presentation files located on what he describes as his "messy desktop." Now a growing presentation network helps him organize these slides for faster, easier access. In the show featured here, screenshots of the associated mixed content slides provide hyperlink sources. These visually descriptive thumbnails are arranged into related clusters, a strategy that helps speed content selection.
