Animated navigation takes advantage of PowerPoint's robust animation features to hide or display navigation components on demand. Typically these components are invisible until the presenter clicks to bring them into view. That way, navigation is always available when needed, yet does not distract from slide content. Animated navigation automatically disappears when a link is clicked, or after four seconds if no link is clicked.
