Self-study workshop sessions are available for both PowerPoint 2003 and PowerPoint 2007 and provide both an economical and convenient way of learning Relational Presentation techniques. Sessions follow the applicable guides and textbooks chapter-by-chapter. They show recordings of the instructor's actions while working in PowerPoint, along with hundreds of slide examples that demonstrate effective design techniques that word well with interactive delivery. All sessions are fully narrated and can be paused, reviewed, or replayed as many times as desired. Once registered, your access to the sessions does not expire. Note: we do change passwords occasionally but registrants can request new passwords at any time by e-mail request.
The self-study format is ideal for individuals who like to learn in their own way, at their own pace. They contain detailed step-by-step instruction but have less oversight and accountability compared with the live sessions. Accordingly, this format is not the best option if you plan to pursue official RP certification or trainer certification. The live sessions offer active support from the instructor and opportunities for design and delivery practice with guided instruction and feedback. These components are less robust or not included in the self-study format.
Regardless of which format your choose, however, our mission is to see you succeed and become a stunningly effective, visually interactive communicator. Therefore, in all cases we will check on your progress from time-to-time. In the near future we hope to have an active user community structure in place as well that can help with support if you get stuck on particular issues.
