Zone navigation is one of our favorites because it doesn't look like navigation, per se, yet is incredibly useful and powerful in allowing a presenter to display supplementary information on demand. With Zone navigation, visual components of slide imagery serve as starting points for links. In the example below, the presenter can click bars of the respective graphs to display more and even more detail as needed.
