Showcase navigation is a simple and effective way of quickly accessing individual slides from a collection of related slides—such as spontaneously showing a particular product from a catalogue of product options. The process is a back-and-forth movement between a slide called a switchboard, that contains all the relevant links, and content slides that hold text, pictures, charts, video, and so forth. The presenter clicks an option on the switchboard to display desired content, and then returns to the switchboard for more options. Any option can be chosen at any time, in any order.
Showcase navigation can have many different appearances, as well. Links can be formed as text or picture thumbnails, and can be arranged however you like. The Showcase Template provides a good starting point for numerous variations.
