Visually interactive presentation combines the use of high-quality visuals and intelligent slideshow design to create PowerPoint slideshows that are far more interesting and engaging for viewers and more effective, reusable, organized and flexible for presenters than traditional slideshows.

Good for Audiences. Great for Presenters.
While traditional linear slideshows full of bullet points tend to bore viewers and lose their interest, visually interactive slideshows engage viewers with powerful visuals, while empowering presenters with the ability to access relevant, useful media and examples from any point in the presentation.
Goodbye Bullets, Hello Dashboard!
Figure 1: Visually Interactive Slideshow Dashboard
Dr. C. June Maker, an Aspire client, explains her struggles with traditional PowerPoint slideshows:
"While interacting with ... audience members ... frequently, I literally pulled 35 millimeter slides out of their slots and rearranged them on the spot ... All that fell apart when we moved to PowerPoint. I felt locked in, out of control, unable to adjust to anything. It was awful."
The Visually Interactive Presentation Solution:
Dr. Maker was able to harness the power of PowerPoint while retaining her organization and ability to interact fluidly with her audience.
She worked with Aspire to create a visually interactive slideshow, including a dashboard for effortless navigation between her entire media collection. "... I still use [it] almost daily and continue adding to it. It’s like an extension of my brain.”
So What Exactly Is Visually Interactive Presentation?
Visually interactive presentation is a dynamically different way of using PowerPoint that gives presenters fast access to individual ideas while speaking. Rather than merely scrolling through slides, you'll make choices along the way.
The slide show in Figure 1, for example, is a training platform used for workshop sessions and conference talks. It's a "normal" PowerPoint slide deck in every way, containing a mere 14 slides. Yet, this single slide show is a powerful tool that gives Aspire trainers immediate access to hundreds of separate topics, all instantly available via hyperlinks.
It provides a jumping-off point to more than 200 hours worth of visual explanations and examples allowing a presenter efficient, easy access to his or her entire collection of materials at any point in his presentation. Whether the presenter thinks of a relevant example on the spot or decides to reference material in response to a question, he or she can do it seamlessly in a way that standard linear, bullet point presentations simply do not allow.
What Are the Benefits of Visually Interactive Presentation?
Simply put, visually interactive presentation aims to make your presentations more effective and more enjoyable, both for you and your audience. Visually interactive presentations excel at organizing and accessing powerful visuals, are reusable and organized, and provide the flexibility you need to think on the spot and interact effectively with your audience.
1. Engage Viewers with Powerful Visuals
Visually interactive presentations dump the traditional bullet points in favor of visual imagery and videos that are not only interesting and engaging for viewers, but accessible at any time from any point in the slideshow.
2. Save Time by Building a Single, Dynamic Slideshow
Visually interactive slideshows are fully reusable. Low-quality slideshows created for a single purpose are replaced with what amounts to a high-quality visual database that can be built on and reused for a variety of purposes and audiences.
3. Get Organized
While it seems easy to put together a quick PowerPoint presentation, over time these "quick fix" presentations pile up, full of clutter, duplicate slides and end up a true burden to the presenter. Visually interactive slideshows keep all of your material organized and ready to use in any presentation.
4. Interact with Your Audience Fluidly
Traditional slideshows that progress linearly from one slide to the next force you impede your ability to discuss or reference anything that's not on the current slide. Visually interactive presentations provide provide a dashboard of hyperlinks that allow you the freedom to discuss or share any slide or media, at any point in your presentation.
Slideshows Become Powerful, Enduring Tools
While traditional slideshows become bloated or get discarded, visually interactive presentations grow into powerfully flexible visual communication tools, often serving multiple presenters and many audiences over a period of years.
